There are three sets of functions that are available on Eastspace, basic, enhanced and additional. Both the basic and enhanced sets are free of charge. The additional functions are not covered by the EEDA sponsorship and are quoted at Esperto’s commercial rates.
By using a combination of the basic and enhanced functions you can easily and quickly build a website of almost any size with a raft of features to provide information to your audience in a structured and engaging way.
You will only require the additional functions for more complex applications or where a specific look and feel is required, perhaps to match an existing house style.
The basic functions include:
1. Authoring and editing textual articles ad abstracts
2. Embedding a virtually unlimited number of images
3. Creating and editing multi level side bar navigation
4. Embedding links to internal material and external websites
5. Uploading and displaying a wide range of document types .
6. Producing tables
7. Dynamic page layout so that your home page can change on a regular basis
8. Statistics on site usage
9. Housekeeping tools to ensure site integrity
