More fabulous success for our swimmers: our Junior, Intermediate and Senior teams won all three shields at the Weald and Downland Trophy Tournament, hosted at Tonbridge School last week.
It was a fantastic afternoon of races between several of the top swimming schools in South East England. Walthamstow Hall competed against Kings Canterbury, Benenden, Eastbourne College, Sevenoaks School and Epsom College.
Those competing were: Madeleine, Fern, Eva and Charlotte in the Juniors, Edith, Katie, Lilie and Jasmine in the Intermediates and Isabella, Emma, Laura and Amelia in the Seniors.
The teams with the three highest scores in each category were:
Juniors
- 1st Walthamstow Hall with 45 points
- 2nd Sevenoaks School with 38 points
- 3rd Epsom with 28 points
Intermediates
- 1st Walthamstow Hall with 45 points
- 2nd Sevenoaks School with 41 points
- 3rd Benenden School with 29 points
Seniors
- Joint 1st place Kings Canterbury and Walthamstow Hall with 48 points
- 3rd Sevenoaks School with 39 points
This was a truly exceptional team effort , well done Team Wally Hall.
