There was magic in the air when Years 3 and 4 performed their tale of wizards using teamwork to save their Sun Castle from the evil Ice Creatures, after the sun begins to dim.
Only by working together can the wizards cast a spell powerful enough to banish the baddies and bring back the sun.
The girls had worked with great enthusiasm to develop their characters, learn their songs and choreograph their dances, with great results in three performances to parents, pupils and staff.
There were some outstanding performances: Chief Wizard Isabel led her cast of wizards with great authority; there was humour with Jessica’s Jokeapart and sympathy for Nolwenn’s Notyet character who didn’t know what she was good at yet.
A big thank you to parents for their help with the costumes and painting the splendid Sun Castle set – another great tale of teamwork.
