World Book Day is in full swing. In our World Book Day Parade each pupil told the School what character she was from what book. Three pupils received a certificate for combining:
- best effort at costume-making
- looking happiest in the costume
- most likely to have actually read the book in question
Congratulations to Matilda in EY2 for Weather Girls, Rose in Y2 for a truly horrific Mrs Twit from The Twits and Amelia in Y6 for Paddington Bear.
Two authors came to continue the book-related fun. Jane Elson gave a spirited reading from her gritty novel Will You Catch Me? for older pupils. Seniha Slowinsky and her dog Rocky visited Early Years and Pre-Prep and presented her book Rocky Rocks and the Colourful Socks.
