We are very much looking forward to the start of our virtual Summer term tomorrow. Form teachers and form tutors will be catching up with students in morning registration from 8.35 – 8.50am, using Microsoft Teams, after which lessons and Miss Ferro’s start of term assembly can be accessed via Firefly.
This will be a particularly special term where we remain focused on continuing as normally as we possibly can, ensuring that all students are ‘match fit’ to hit the ground running on their return to school, or in the case of Year 13, university or work. Physical distance will not be a barrier to continuing to nurture students’ academic and cultural curiosity and we hope that this season may also present unexpected opportunities, for example growth in independent learning, increased breadth of study and the development of new hobbies and interests.
We look forward to re-assembling in our new, temporary virtual form in the morning, ‘see you’ then.
