Mrs Sherwen’s Year 10 Biology students put the ‘practical’ into Science practical in their latest lesson, learning about the role of the diaphragm in inhaling and and exhaling. Students made their own model lungs using plastic drinks bottles, balloons and straws to improve their understanding of this biological process as this clip from Elsie and models by Daisy, Elizabeth and Roseanna demonstrate.
