The Whole School Charity for this academic year is The Kusasa Project, an educational centre in South Africa which gives disadvantaged children access to education, nutrition and sport.
The school is in the Franschhoek Valley in the Cape Winelands, an area of incredible natural beauty – and crushing poverty.
Boys and girls from the local community benefit from the school’s holistic approach; they receive breakfast and lunch there, health checks and targeted intervention and a broad educational curriculum. A key part of the school’s philosophy is getting pupils’ families involved.
Founded in 2006, it’s a privately-funded, non-profit, fully-accredited school making a positive change to the destinies of children and their families.
We look forward to supporting The Kusasa Project.
