Life is great when you have a Chocolate Workshop on your timetable! Year 4 have been learning all about the ancient Mayan civilisation and its chocolate-making traditions.
Pupils heard how the cacao bean is grown, harvested and processed, before eventually ending up on our supermarket shelves.
They tasted and smelt a variety of different chocolate and then made their own truffles, which they all reported tasted fabulous when they got home.
