It’s World Book Day at the Junior School, held a week after the official one, so we can celebrate it together in person.
Our parade was held outdoors this time, braving the remnants of last night’s storm, before going inside for a day of book-related activities.
We have tied the day in with age-appropriate activities from our School Careers Coordinator, Mrs Hayes, who is asking the pupils “What’s Your Story?”.
Mrs Hayes – dressed in an inflatable dragon costume – has given lessons to Years 3 and 4, encouraging them to think of the roles involved in creating a book and then looking at all the jobs that are done in hospitals.
