Staff dressed as Land Girls and ARP Wardens guided Years 3-6 through a day of World War Two-themed activities on Wednesday.
The Year 6 play this term is “We’ll Meet Again“, a story about a group of child evacuees, so all the gas mask and sandbag props made will be used in the production.
Pupils also learnt a Jive and Jitterbug dance in the hall, cracked a cipher code, created some “Blitz Art” and experienced some 1940s hair and make up application.
