In the end of term hub bub Year 7 students took some time to slow down and stop and smell the flowers, specifically the ones in the Science department’s wildflower meadow.
Each student chose and painted a flower and/or a bee as part of their Art lessons which Art teacher Mrs Brown has now compiled into the beautiful virtual meadow you see here.
This Art project is a great example of cross-curricular learning, linking with this year’s Science Week focus on Bees, which could be found collecting pollen from the very same meadow flowers Year 7 were painting.
