Gabriela in Year 9 will be swimming half a mile in the Serpentine in London’s Hyde Park later this month, to raise funds for Alice’s Arc.
The children’s cancer charity was founded by Walthamstow Hall parents and Gabriela wants to support it because “Alice was a student at my school and a member of our community”.
