In Science, Year 4 have been investigating sound and how it travels through different materials. They made some string telephones and then had a go using them outside in the playground. They were shocked to discover the loudness of a small tap on the table when their ear was pressed against it.
In Mathematics, pupils played a game to help add fractions to make up a whole. They ended up with a whole plate of food by adding fractions of a diverse range of foods. A plate of pizza, pie and chocolate cake seemed to be the favourite.
