Our Badminton stars have been collecting impressive medals at international and national tournaments.
Holly in Year 13 won two golds at the Czech Junior International Badminton tournament, both the Ladies and Mixed Doubles. This was Holly’s last Junior tournament, she’ll be in the Seniors next, so a brilliant way to end her Junior days.
Sofia in Year 11 won bronze in the English U17 Nationals. Badminton coach Jo Muggeridge points out that Sofia was a ‘year young’ for this tournament, ‘so has another chance next year to win gold’!
