Author and illustrator Danielle Verbeeten eased us into the festive season and sprinkled some Christmas magic on our youngest pupils with her visit on December 1st.
The picture book tells of how tiny Eddie and his friends have to save The North Pole from disaster – and make it back in time for Christmas.
Danielle read her story in two separate workshops, one for EY1 – Year 2 and the next for Years 3 and 4. She explained her design process and answered lots of questions before everyone had a go at drawing their own elf, inspired by Eddie.
