In celebration of World Book Day, Prep-prep pupils had a fun-packed morning with award-winning writer and illustrator Sophy Henn. Pupils used Sophy’s latest book, ‘Lifesize’ to compare themselves to the world’s biggest and smallest creatures, finding out lots of amazing animal facts along the way, like the size of a giant squid easily being the length of a classroom!
Sophy also showed our budding illustrators how to draw their favourite characters from her books; the dancing bear from ‘The Best Worst Day Ever’, the grumpy panda Pom Pom, and reluctant hero Pizazz were all brought to life!
