Good luck to Bella and Danielle, who are heading to the Finals Day of the International Competition of Young Debaters hosted by the Cambridge Union this weekend.
Our two Year 10s will be debating top teams not only from the UK but also Canada, Hong Kong and Ireland.
Bella points out “Six hundred teams started out in this competition and we’re one of just seventy who have made it through to the finals.” They will take part in four debates over the day and receive 15 minutes to prepare for each session.
