Sophie, Elizabeth and Elsie in Year 13 made a trip to Buckingham Palace to be presented with their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards, from HRH the Duke of Edinburgh himself!
Amid the pomp of the day they listened to guest speakers, former England footballer Jill Scott MBE and Gold DofE recipient, charity worker and student, Lyndon Howson.
It is a fantastic achievement for Sophie, Elizabeth and Elsie to have completed their Gold DofE Award while still at School, so many congratulations to them.
Thanks are due also to our DofE Manager, Mr Ramsden, for all his support to our students embarking on the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
