The sun shone, enthusiasm ran high and nine Junior School athletic records were broken on a glorious Junior School Sports Day.
Parents thronged the trackside spectator spots at the Tonbridge School venue and Senior School Year 9 Sports Leaders were on hand to help the day run smoothly.
There were prizes for Athletic Achievement and also Endeavour. Sophie in Year 6 performed brilliantly to break three School records: the 100m, the Long Jump and the High Jump.
The teachers had their own race, to the delight of pupils! Music teacher Mr Giles claimed gold in the 100m, Mrs Fewster came second and Head of Sport Mrs Vickers claimed bronze. The Year 9 Sports Leaders also had a chance to race against each other, as did the parents!
The overall House winner was Norton.
