Excitement is building for the opening of Around the World in 80 Days, which will be performed by Years 8 & 9 in the Ship tonight and tomorrow.
The play is based on Jules Verne’s novel about the Victorian gentleman Phileas Fogg, who wagers his fortune that he can circumnavigate the globe in just 80 days. Accompanied by his valet, Passepartout, Fogg sets out to prove his detractors wrong.
The cast will be performing music written by our own Music Teacher, Miss Leather.
There will be extended interval for the audience to enjoy a picnic on the front lawn. Audience members can either bring their own picnic or buy one from a stall run by Year 7 as part of their Social Enterprise Project.
There are still some tickets available for both performances, click here to purchase.
