Big congratulations to our Year 13 leavers, whose A Level grades today see the majority of them heading for their first choice destinations including highly competitive degree courses and apprenticeships. A third of our students attained a full hand of A*/A grades and, in contrast to the national picture, Walthamstow Hall’s percentage of A*-B grades represents an increase on the results in the three years pre-COVID.
Speaking from the Sixth Form Centre this morning, Headmistress Louise Chamberlain said, “Our students’ results are a fantastic reflection of their aspiration, effort and resilience as well as their teachers’ professional expertise and understanding of the individual. I wish all of our leavers every success in their next steps and look forward to welcoming them back to school as alumnae.”
