Our youngest recruits to the Senior School hiked, camped and ate pizza together in a big getting-to-know-you session centred on the lovely Romshed Farm in Underriver last Friday.
Led by our Duke of Edinburgh Manager Mr Ramsden, Year 7 learnt some orienteering skills as they walked from Wally, across Knole, south towards Romshed. Once there, they met some cows and heard about organic farming from the owner of Romshed Farm, Fidelity Weston.
They pitched their tents, slept under the stars and next morning walked back again, ready to meet their parents on the School’s front lawn for bacon butties at 10am.
