Our Junior School community swung behind the “Going for Gold” initiative to raise awareness of childhood cancer, by playing lots of games! Girls enjoyed playing lacrosse, improving their ball skills and playing with hoops – coinciding with a MacMillan Coffee Morning for parents.
We are delighted to donate funds raised to Alice’s Arc, a children’s cancer charity founded by Wally Hall parents Sarah and David Wakeling.
In the morning assembly, Mrs Downs talked to the School about Alice’s Arc, about the definition of hope and trying to help other people.
Overall, we raised more than £900 on Friday morning.
