Girls ‘became’ a medieval character and were chosen to describe to their peers their crimes, before learning about the sort of trial they might face and punishments for a guilty verdict.
The Happening History group brandished a series of tools used in medieval surgery, useful for amputating limbs after a blade injury sustained during one of the many wars in that era.
Year 7 students are going to write some historical fiction set in the year 1340, so the workshop will help them create authentic detail in their writing.
