Year 12 Drama A Level students crank up the tension for tonight’s examined performances of their devised plays.
The seven students have created two pieces of theatre between them. One is contemporary and features a famous pianist preparing to perform a sell-out concert at Carnegie Hall. Supported by her husband, she grapples with her anxiety, until there is a knock on the door…
The other piece is set in 1913. Four sisters gather to read the will of their parents who were passengers on the ill-fated Titanic. Behind the sisterly affections lurk secrets, jealousy and frustration. One of them is prepared to take extreme measures to secure what she believes is rightfully hers.
