Big congratulations to everyone who had the courage and charisma to perform at the Wally Pop concert just before Half Term. Wind Band opened the evening with an energetic rendition of Fame and the Year 7 Choir closed it singing Here Comes The Sun, with guitar teacher Mr Connell providing the beautiful riff.
There was a variety of styles and a fantastic spread of performers from across all year groups. Adele was a popular choice of artist, we also heard songs from Taylor Swift, Celeste, Pink, Livingstone and Bill Withers among others. Well done to those who accompanied themselves and to Iona in Year 10 who performed her own song, accompanying herself on guitar.
As ever, many thanks to the Music Department for masterminding the evening and for encouraging the girls to shine.
