Unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Senior School Sports Day at Tonbridge School.
The forecast is poor for the majority of the day, with possible lightning at lunchtime. There is very limited shelter available at Tonbridge School track, and the weather that is forecast would mean that some events would have to be cancelled for safety reasons. In addition, providing a BBQ lunch for everyone would be very challenging.
A normal timetable of lessons will now take place, and pupils should aim to arrive at Wally at the usual time for morning registration. Any pupils who get School transport will now be picked up and taken to School as normal.
I am sorry for any disappointment this decision will cause; however, we will be working hard over the next couple of days to plan an alternative sports house event before the end of term.
