Year 6 came back tired but very happy after three days of water-based adventures at UKSA on the Isle of Wight. After a sunny ferry ride over to the island on Wednesday they enjoyed water team games on the first afternoon.
Over the next two days the girls tried lots of activities: dinghy sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding. They tried their hand at crabbing one evening, enjoyed some archery and a climbing wall and went into Cowes for ice cream on the last afternoon.
This two-night residential stay is always a highlight for Year 6 as they near the end of their time at the Junior School. Friendships flourish and the girls’ confidence rises as they test themselves in new surroundings. Just a few more days left, Year 6, it’s been a pleasure!
