Rehearsals are intensifying with less than two weeks to go until the opening night of the very fabulous Senior School production of Guys & Dolls. This story of gangsters, gamblers and the religious mission trying to save the sinners’ souls is set in 1950s New York (or “Noo Yawk”) and features famous numbers such as “Luck be a Lady” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat” and “I’ve Never Been in Love Before“.
Drama teacher Ms Oakley went to the National Theatre Costume store last week, to select outfits to add to our own costume reserves, hires from The Oast in Tonbridge and finds in local charity shops. Fittings and alterations are underway!
