Guys & Dolls gallery 2024

The cast of Guys and Dolls were cheered on for five encores of “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat” in their final performance on Saturday evening!  Walthamstow Hall schoolgirls became New York hoodlums, gamblers, nightclub dancers and Save-a-Soul Christian do-gooders, inhabiting by turn a New York dive or Cuban saloon in The Ship theatre.

This musical was last performed at Wally in 2013 and several alumnae from that production came to meet the current cast and team ahead of watching Friday’s performance.

The rehearsals, the costumes, the fabulous direction by Head of Drama Mrs Bower-Morris and her team, the talented band led by Miss Leather and the energy and talent of the girls, all coalesced into wonderfully entertaining and exuberant performances. Thank you to Sarah Newman for the photos in the gallery above.
