An impressive six of our youngest and newest Senior School students sang solos at our fabulous Wally Stage & Screen concert last week.
Families and friends had gathered in the Hall – and around the live-streaming at home – for an evening of songs from films and musicals, performed by students who had made it through the auditions. Each girl held the stage during her performance, accompanied by Deputy Head Mr Castell on the double bass and Music teacher Miss Leather on keyboards.
The evening opened with the Chamber Choirs singing One from A Chorus Line, followed by soloists performing pieces from from: Annie, Wicked, Heathers, Chicago and many more. The Year 7 Choir closed the evening with a song from Six, the musical. Big thanks to the Music Department and tech crew for such an enjoyable, well-run evening.
