Creating electric Christmas trees Dr Al-Sarraj talking to our Medical Society
The Science Block was buzzing on Tuesday lunchtime – literally – as Wally Engineers were making sound-activated robotic frogs and electric Christmas Trees in the Physics Department.
On the floor below in Chemistry, 2007 Walthamstow Hall leaver Dr Al-Sarraj was talking to our Medical Society about her career in medicine, training and working as a GP. Her advice was that while getting the grades is necessary, grades alone don’t make a good doctor, “be yourself and do it because you love it”.
