Year 7 were immersed into a world of superstition, frightening medical practices and bad teeth in their medieval history workshop this week.
The Happening History group helped students understand what life was like in England in the Middle Ages. They learnt about medieval dress, food, customs, warfare and learning a trade such as carpentry.
Year 7 students are going to write some historical fiction set in the year 1340, so the workshop will help them create authentic detail in their writing.
