Reception have been enjoying making progress with their art. After reading some stories set in rainforests, girls watched a how-to-draw video.
They then took it in three steps to try to reproduce a toucan in art form. The first try was on a whiteboard, the second was with a pencil in a sketchbook and then third was the big one, painting on paper.
It’s about practice makes perfect and enjoying the journey. The girls were able to see how they were improving with each attempt and they were very excited about the results.
So are we, especially when we remember the artists are only four or five years old!
