Every child in the Junior School took part in a rousing, uplifting Harvest Festival in which we gave thanks for all that we have.

In a packed hall, girls performed a range of songs, poems and readings to their families, mixing familiar with the new.  Year 5 read Jesus’ Parable of the Sower – where the good soil that lets the farmer’s seed grow represents people who hear and live God’s message.

A big thank you to our families for your generous donations of food items which will be taken to the Sevenoaks Food Bank.

Afterwards, Headmistress Ms Chamberlain spoke to parents of older children about their next steps in choosing a senior school that is right for their child. Ms Chamberlain has worked in the entire range of schools: mixed, single sex, selective, comprehensive, state, independent, boarding and day. She removed her Headmistress lanyard to demonstrate she was giving a fair account of all their different aspects, encouraging parents to consider what option might best fit their particular child.
