Junior School girls in Years 3-6 displayed great public speaking and performance skills when they took part in the annual Mulberry Challenge competition last week.
11 finalists recited a poem from memory and read a passage of prose in front of the whole school and our esteemed judges: Miss Mehaffey (Head of English at the Senior School) and Mrs West (School governor).
The girls presented a wide range of poets and authors. Huge congratulations to the overall winner, Renée, who wowed the audience with an exceptional performance full of charm and wit, and also the Year 3-4 winner, Arianna and Year 5-6 winner, Louisa S.
