Grease was the word at the end of the Autumn term as Year 13 staged the annual ‘surprise’ Pantomime at the Senior School. The afternoon is always the year’s worst kept secret with all students and teachers assembling in the main hall after Christmas lunch for a supposed choir practice.
This year, Year 13 turned Wally Hall into Rydale High for their version of Grease, ably assisted by a stellar supporting cast of good sports from the staff room. Mr Hughes singing ‘Beauty School Drop Out’ into his hairbrush and Mr Clements’ version of ‘Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee’, will live on in the School’s collective memory until way past next Christmas!
