It’s fantastic to see so many students choosing to take Drama to GCSE and beyond.
A total of 27 Year 10 Drama candidates were involved in the GCSE Devised Plays, performed in The Ship this week.
Students are given a ‘stimulus’, from which they write, direct and act a piece of theatre lasting about 20 minutes. The five plays the students created dealt with a range of subjects including a missing child, family secrets and wartime struggles.
