This time last week Wally Hall senior runners were gearing for the 5km Senior Knole Run where they achieved impressive results. Lily led the Wally pack finishing 4th overall, followed by Ella in 23rd place, Amelia in 28th, Vita in 59th and Liberty in 65th.Lily is pictured here in Athletics Weekly magazine’s coverage of this event. Stop Press: Hot on the heels of the Knole Run, on 18 January, Lily won the Kent Schools Junior Girls Competition for Year 8 and 9 students and has therefore been selected to represent Kent schools ( and Wally of course) at the English Schools Inter-Counties Finals in Liverpool in March. In the Kent Schools Inters race Amelia finished 18th and qualified for the Inter Counties competition in two weeks time (another qualifying race for Nationals). Team mate Niamh finished in an impressive 11th place and also qualified for the Kent Team at Inter Counties in March at Somerhill. Amber and Olivia also ran good races finishing 55th and 62nd respectively out of 102 competitors. Fantastic running everyone.
