Wraparound Care

Wraparound Care is available from 7.15am to 6.15pm, Monday – Friday, for all pupils and is based in Early Years.  Hot food for both breakfast and tea is prepared by our own catering staff.

Free sessions are available for siblings of both Junior and Senior School pupils and apply for clubs held at either school.

There are three Wraparound Care Sessions each day, Monday to Friday:

Breakfast and before School, 7:15 – 8:20am

Arrival is flexible but should be by 7:30am if breakfast is required.

After School until 4:45pm

Reception – Year 6: Reception and Key Stage 1 pupils have activities and can be collected at any time.  Key Stage 2 pupils attend supervised homework and should not be collected before 4:45pm.

Tea after School, from 4:45 – 6:15pm

Tea is served from 4.45 – 5.15pm, after which pupils relax, play or do activities.
Collection time is flexible, although if possible please try to avoid collecting at teatime.

Booking and Pricing

Wraparound Care charges can be found on the Junior School Fees page.  To help us with arranging the correct staffing ratios and catering, please book your session at least 24 hours in advance by emailing wraparoundcare@whall.school.  Bookings not made in advance will be charged at a higher rate.  Sessions that are booked but not attended will be charged (except for illness), so please remember to cancel your booking.

Emergency Requests

Please note we may not always be able to accommodate emergency requests (ie. within 24 hours); if they can be accommodated they will also be charged at a higher rate.  Please contact the Junior School Office, 01732 453815, to find out more.
